Hostelworld
Many options for different budgets
This site has always offered everything, from dirt cheap places to the more expensive, exclusive hostels. It's easy to find what you are looking for, whether it's for one night or a week, a couple or a couple friends. I often recommend the site to friends who are traveling and are having problems finding a place to stay within their budget. It's helped me out on several occasions when I was traveling and wasn't sure where to stay. It's also nice to read the reviews of the people who have stayed there before and you know roughly what to expect.
Ebookers
Groups made easy
I was looking to book for a group of seven people, which is quite impossible on most sites. With Ebookers I not only got the flight that I had originally wanted, but I got it at a better price than other sites were offering and was able to book all seven people at the same time. The only thing that was a bit confusing is that they sent me three reference numbers and I can only find use for two of them. Other than that, I would happily use this site again.
