Ordered a radio and the bits needed to fit it to my car.
After the delivery was late by 2 days, I emailed them to ask what was going on (tracking on the Royal Mail website said they were advised an item was to enter their system but hadn't yet.). I then received an 'automated' email telling me I needed to phone them as there was a problem with my delivery, and if I didn't soon I would face delays on my delivery... I tried to phone their premium rate customer helpline 4 times and couldn't get through. After a couple days of trying to phone and checking order tracking on their website, Car Audio Centre's tracking said my stuff was on back order, meaning it had to be sourced from a supplier as they didn't have it in stock. I read their T&Cs which stated that if they didn't have stock, payment wouldn't be taken unless one is willing to wait for the supplier's delivery -which I've now learnt is a lie as my money was taken as soon as I ordered (and wasn't told anything about things being out of stock). I did eventually receive all my items ~10 days late.
To date the only response I've had from these guys was 5 days after I opened a PayPal dispute, when I had a blunt one liner stating delivery had been made, ignoring the fact that they have violated their own T&Cs and delivered the item well behind schedule with no correspondence whatsoever.
The company seems to be a child of In Phase International Ltd (with whom I had the PayPal dispute).
I think I found my way to ShopTo, by a bit of googling, to find someone other than amazon for my PC games (Great SEO!). I'm really glad I did, prices are always slightly cheaper than elsewhere and delivery more reliable and fast.
I hope ShopTo stick around to sell me games for many years to come!
