Great hat, prompt service. Packaging left a little to be desired for a relatively high value product.

Brixton 'Gain' trilby - Was delighted with the hat, and with the very quick service. My one significant reservation would be with the packaging. The box that the hat was packed in was notably smaller than the diameter of the hat, with the result that the brim was crushed and misshapen. With a felt hat (especially once it has been worn for a while, or perhaps steamed) this hopefully will eventually relax into its intended shape, but that did leave me slightly disappointed. I have bought other (cheaper) hats from www.hatsandcaps.co.uk and their packaging is designed to protect the shape of a brimmed gentleman's hat. For a hat costing £48 I would have hoped for slightly better care. (Love the hat, though)

Hi James, I am extremely disappointed to here this. We have gone to significant lengths to stop this happening and have had a box made specifically for these hats to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. It is clear that the incorrect box has been used in your case and I can only apologise for that. I will talk to the packer of your order to establish whether there is a training issue there!
If the item is in any way damaged please feel free to return it and we will replace it free of charge and refund your return postage to you.
