Facility to acknowlege Order Received

After receiving payment for orders would it be too much trouble for the company to email customer to see if its been received?
I have waited over week for Wormers to be delivered. It has been left up to me to chase the order and be insulted with a ridiculous excuse for no-delivery by Parcel Force!

I am very sorry to hear that despite our very best efforts to resolve the problems you experienced with delivery you are still disappointed with our service.

From the moment you contacted us to report that you had not received the parcel, our staff tried their upmost to investigate why ParcelForce had be unable to deliver your parcel 5 times. I am very sorry that ParcelForce have let us and you down on this occasion as they were unable to find your address.

We are terribly sorry that this has caused you unnecessary inconvenience, however we do feel that once we realised you had a problem we did everything to ensure that you received your goods as soon as possible and kept your informed of what was happening.

We are currently tracking the re-delivery of your parcel today and we shall contact you later to confirm that you have received it.

Again please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has burdened you with.
