Paid £468 pounds more than original price!!

Have just had an experience with opodo that feels like I have been robbed at gun point. I booked two return flights (manchester to sao paulo) costing a total of £970.

When I received the confirmation email the name of the second passenger was: Mrs asdff sdf, which was clearly wrong, as the name appearing on the confirmation was as if someone was blind typing on a keyboard.

Calling the after sales team proved to be useless, I even got smirks of amusement from the representative. At the end opodo's solution is: cancel original booking at a lose of £300, and repurchase ticket now costing £653. Which means that a ticket that originally cost £485 has ended up costing £953 (excluding extra fees) £468 more than originally planned for and all because of an internet mistake as I always check my details when making a booking, especially an expensive one!

I can understand a fee for changing a name but opodo has completley blown this out of proportion.
