I paid for car hire from suncars in May for the amount of £350.00, they sent me a voucher to confirm this, on arrival in Spain in august there was no car, so I went to another car hire company and they was kind enough to phone the car hire company for me, she told me he would come and meet me, so I waited 20 minutes he did meet me and told me he had cancelled the car hire 2 weeks previously, he said he had sent an e-mail to cancel all transactions, suncars had not paid him any money since April and owed his £5000.00 Euros, he had a list of all the people that was meant to get a car from him, which he had cancelled with suncars, I asked if he could give me a copy of the e-mail and he said he was not able to do this, so this left me without a car, he then said he would hire me a car for £397.00 if I wanted it, I said no thank you as I thought it might be a scam, I then went to Avis cars and hired car to continue my holiday, obviously this was not a nice experience.
when i got home i phoned my credit card company and they said i should try suncars first but will send me a claim form, after several e-mails back and forth to suncars complaints department still no refund i have now filled in claim form for the credit card company.
DONT USE SUNCARS/DECODE CAR HIRE THEY ARE RUBBISH
