TransferWise

Very user friendly, very easy, and serious saving from doing this at the bank!

I was due to make two payments from and English Santander account to a Spanish Santander account.
When i visited them, they informed me that there would be a £25 for each transaction, which I thought was ridiculous. I didn't make the transaction, and went in search of doing the money transfer online.
It was then I came across Transferwise, which promised that it'd only cost me £1 for the transaction. I was a bit sceptical at first as the deal seemed too good to be true, and why hadn't I heard of TransferWise before? But after reading a few reviews I gave it a go.
I was seriously impressed, it did only cost me £1, and was very easy to set up. I was emailed with updates as to the progress of the transaction - when they receive money, what they're doing next, who they've told...
The transfer was very quick, and I would recommend TransferWise to anyone who needs to put money in a bank account in a different country.
