Usually good, but not this time

I ordered some engine parts a week ago, thinking I had plenty of time for them to arrive and for me to get my engine rebuilt in time for a track evening tonight.
Unfortunately the bits haven't arrived yet, which means no track night for me!!
Very disappointed and kinda shocked, cos Petrolscooter are usually pretty quick on delivery. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in this case though, and suggest that their excuse might be the postal service is probably snowed under with boxes from Amazon. So I gave them a 3 star rating, in spite of the delivery estimate being 1-3 days, and the reality being 7 days and counting.
Price was good and the quality of goods is usually fine from Petrolscooter

We apologise for the delay, as normal the goods were dispatched on the order day but unfortunately Royal Mail let us down on this occasion. As the customer has been fair to us we must be also fair to Royal Mail who deliver more than 99% of the orders we give them on time. We work with them continually to reach the magical 100% but we have to recognise that ever system will have times when for one reason or another a delivery cannot be delivered or is lost. Rest assured whatever the outcome our customer will not lose out although we can only regret that he has been inconvenienced.
