Opened an account and placed my first order online, paying in full by debit card.
Then received an email asking me to call them about my order - when I did, I was told the order needed to be put through again, meaning a later delivery date. I received an email confirming the delivery following the call - but it was showing delivery to the wrong address! So I had to call back yet again and was told that order had to be cancelled for a second time, and re-entered so it would come to the correct address.
Luckily delivery went smoothly!
However, a month later I received a bill demanding payment - yet another long call explaining the whole trail of events to an adviser. It transpires that the original debit card payment did not go through, so I have now paid that and supposedly all is sorted - but I cannot close my account until I receive my next monthly statement showing no money is owed.
Overall - a totally rubbish experience for what should have been a simple transaction - my advice is to shop elsewhere, it is not worth the time and hassle to deal with this company just to get a slightly lower price - I must have spent more on phone calls to them than I saved via their introductory discount offer!
Would have been one star but for the fact that the advisers I spoke to were doing their best to be helpful.
