Ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 16 GB White on a deal that was posted on a daily deal website for 149.99, while it could have been a mistake on their part, that is what was advertised, many people ordered but they couldnt fulfill the order and they blamed their stock system, surely if you tell the system that there are say 1000 items, when 1000 sales are done, the item becomes out of stock and unavailable for further purchase. Instead they chose to go ahead and take the card details and then a couple of days later sent a bulk email saying they had to cancel it, they probably didnt want to sell it on the cheap, offered no apology, no commercial gesture (ie a voucher or something) and then cancelled the order.
Even after they tweeted the deal they still didnt do anything but were quite happy to get the free advertising from the deal.
That was my first and last order from their website and I wouldnt go into their stores or recommend them.

Bought a lot of olympics items at reduced price.
Made a mistake and ordered twice of the same, asked them almost straight away afterwards to change it or change the quantity but they wouldnt, hiding behind a "A very efficient Warehouse Management System".
May try them again at some point.
I live two miles away and I can usually collect on my way to and from work, plenty of parking in the Reading store and usually no other customers than me whenever I go. Staff are friendly and seem knowledgeable enough (but I never need sales assistance anyway as I buy parts).
Have bought all parts for my new computer from there and collected when it was ready. They are usually a couple of quid more expensive than Amazon or Dabs but the fact I dont pay postage and can get the item the same day by collecting is a trade-off I am willing to make. Can even get quidco cashback so that makes up a little bit.
Any issues I just go back in there and they test the component there and then, had a DOA Ram and they replaced it on the spot with a new one.
Have been recommending this to my local friends and colleagues.
Delivery from two retailers, email and text advises me it has arrived onto the depot and will be delivered next day, option to choose the delivery date if the proposed one is not suitable.
On the morning of the delivery you get a timeslot.
Drivers are friendly and polite and respect the supplied timeslot.
I highly recomment their service.
Complete liars. Never ring the door bell with about a dozen deliveries in two years, yet the postman is able to ring the bell ok.
Constantly having to drive and park in town to go and pick up from the post office. if I wanted to go to the shops I wouldnt have bought the items online.
Their customer service is useless its handled by people who have never seen a parcel or a doorbell and probably not even in the UK.
When you ring the 08xx number it sends you to another depot, only to be told my local depot have switched their phones off.
Why people still use them I dont know ?
!!!!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!!
I have been buying goods from ebuyer since 2004 and ebuyer used to be really good and have recommended it to many friends and work colleagues. Delivery was brilliant when they were using Citylink. Prices were right and quality of the items was really good.
Had one bad experience with a faulty item collected from my place and returned to my old adress, one of their agents was plain rude and in the wrong (got this confirmed by Trading Standards) which was only sorted when another agent picked up the enote 2 months later, leaving me with without my mp3 player and my money... Not great customer service.
Decided to stop ordering from them for almost 3yrs.
Then wanted to give them a second chance hoping they had sorted their issues but I got bitten twice, this time by the crap delivery company they use (Parcelforce) who never ring the house despite the fact that I am in but seem to be quite happy to put a card in the letterbox and making me collect it from the post office for a delivery which I paid, rearranging a delivery takes over a week. Complained to ebuyer to complain got an answer 2 weeks later.. This has appened again on my latest delivery.
Unfortunately the delivery company is the only contact between ebuyer and its customer and on top of that the poor customer experience I had with ebuyer means I will now stop using and recommending Ebuyer altogheter.
