Not a happy experience. As the PC concerned was not in the finder database, I enquired and was given incorrect information resulting in my ordering the wrong DIMMs. These were returned (but to be fair, a prompt credit was made) and a new order placed for the correct DIMMs. Unfortunately, one of the DIMMs supplied proved faulty and a further return was necessary.
My old Compaq Presario 700 laptop was creaking and near useless but I realised thee was a spare memory slot still. The 700 does not allow much memory, but it was worth a punt on the 256Mb module before dumping it. The performance has improved so much that it is now back in regular use. The great thing was it only took 24 hours for Mr. Memory to deliver the goods, so I was not kept hanging around. Great service!
