Received my computer & went to boot it for the very 1st time & it wouldn't work. Sent it back to Acer who promised to get back to me in 3 working days, now over 5 working days have past & I've had to contact them. They said they were sorry for not contacting me & put me on a priority list which will take a further 2 working days. Also now been told that they think they can repair it as its a faulty hard drive. 2 reasons I'm not happy is as I work with computers I know I can strip my laptop & replace the hard drive in an hour also I asked for a new computer (which is what I've paid for) as how do I know it wont inherit other problems? They said as I've received the computer & sent it back faulty its there policy to fix it & if it cant be fixed then they send a new one out.
So in summary I've paid for a brand new computer, never had a chance to use it & now getting a repaired computer sent back hopefully next week & as to date its been over 10 days since I sent I made the 1st call reporting the problem & it'll be another 5 days before I can call them again (as it's now Friday the 2 day priority list means I cant call them until Wednesday)
