I really didn't think that we could get any recompense for the faulty furniture we had purchased when the firm we bought this off went bankrupt, seemingly to avoid the massive payments they would otherwise have had to make.
To be precise we had bought a leather suite, made up of a settee and two arm chairs, which gave my wife and I terrible skin rashes. Until a tv newsbroadcast alerted us to the fact that it was the impregnated leather which was causing this and we were told to stop using these items immediately, we had no idea that this was causing us to be ill, nor had our GP or the hospital we had been referred to.
When we found out about this the firm took every possible legal means to stop our claim for compensation and attempted to block at every turn Russell, Jones and Walker who had undertaken to pursue the case for us when we had given up.
Eventually, due entirely to the diligence, commitment and legal knowledge of the professional staff at RJW and the many months they spent in legal wrangling over our case and other similar ones, we received a full and complete payout recognising that we not only had had to buy another set of furniture but that we had been made seriously ill because of this product.
I have nothing but praise for the truly excellent service we received from RJW. They kept us fully posted at every turn in the various court proceedings and when things appeared at their bleakest not only carried on but continued to boost our often flagging morale. Customer satisfaction of the very highest order!
