For no access read cannot be bothered to drive to a small village with 1 item.

My item was supposed to be delivered on wednesday on FRIDAY there parcel tracker tells me they have no access to my house. As I live on a B road and my house name and number are displayed on the gate I think someone is telling porkies. I was also in all day so no excuse there.
Having worked in the courier sector I know a few dodges the drivers use but you should not put no access when the property is on a road. As this company uses self-employed drivers in their private cars to deliver thier goods and as petrol is expensive they are not going to drive miles to deliver 1 parcel.
As a consequence of this appaling service I will not buy anything from Tesco direct again as you cannot even contact this awful company Hermes to sort things out.
