If only stock control was in place...

Bought from Better Bathrooms twice.

Experience 1 (2010) - all in stock, ordered in showroom, delivery within 1 week all undamaged. Whole experience was good and was reason for coming back.

Experience 2 (November 2012) - when we ordered the whole suite the bath was not in stock but was expected in stock in 2 weeks time. 2 weeks later the delivery was arranged. Later that day I have received email advising that my order is being prepared for dispatch. Only then did I notice, as it was not mentioned during phone call, that the BATH IS NOT included. Called customer services and at first was told that everything is in my order but after asking few times why it doesn't say so on dispatch confirmation was told that the bath will not be delivered this time as it is not in stock. I was advised that it should be in stock in next 10 days. I called BB on the day (Monday) when the bath was to be back in stock and was told that yes, it has been received and that I will receive a phone call in next 48 hours to arrange delivery. After 48 hours nothing happened so I called BB again and was told that bath was only delivered into stock on Tuesday (so not Monday as I was told) and that somebody will ring me within 48 hours to arrange delivery. I called back on Thursday and was told that I'm scheduled for delivery on Friday (nice to know now that I'm chasing it). When I asked when will it de delivered I was told that there is no slot allocated yet. I asked when it can happen and after some time was told that delivery takes place between 8-5 and route will be arranged after 6pm on Thursday so I should expect a call after 7pm this evening with the slot time. From here all went smoothly. I did get a phone call after 7 and was advised what my 2 hour delivery slot is. On Friday I received another phone call advising me that delivery will be with us within next 20 minutes. Bath arrived!

To sum it up: if you're lucky and all is in stock, go for it - quality's good and delivery quite fast. If not in stock - give yourself another 3 weeks to their expected in stock date- you might get it by then.
