Great prices, but 'below average' packaging standards
FFX offer an excellent range of well known, and not so well known but good value brands and all at really good prices and with prompt delivery. In my case The packaging of the items I'd ordered was what rather let the overall performance score drop. Yards of black plastic sheet and wide sticky tape wrapped round and round and round and ............ - you get the picture. Not at all sturdy, offering minimal protection from careless carrier handling, and took me a good while very carefully to extricate things from their cocoons. Particularly unhappy that in the process of de-taping, some of the text printed on some of the items' labels was lifted by the adhering sticky tape, making reading whatever had been there (instructions? Manufacturer contact information? Usage advice? - who knows?) impossible.
