I bought a set of sofa's for £2000- In store the quality was really good and worth the money. The salesmen also elaborated on this lifetime guarantee when in reality it's NOT, there's soooo many terms and conditions to it so make sure you clarify specifically because the salesmen I spoke to were really good at their job and made it seem like I was covered for life.
Nevertheless, when the sofa's finally arrived after a month's waiting time which was fine the stitching was loose and there were tears in the corner so I didn't take it, then, the SAME sofa's arrived again and after calling them back they said there was nothing wrong with it and someone will come out to speak to me about it. I was furious and helpless.
However, the biggest problem was when the delivery men came to the house that second time to deliver the sofa's; they pushed the sofa's to the corner of my living room and made a massive dent on my newly laid flooring. I decided to complain to head office and took photo's and they did not reply until the second week after the third email. And they said they are not responsible and would not compensate. I am furious, shocked and would never buy anything from CSL again. Now I have to live with a massive dent on the floor after enjoying it for one week and sofa's that was poorly made (made in china actually) and after a few months of sitting on these sofa's I have also noticed the seats are already sagging :(
