Worst delivery company in the U.K

Track the parcel online shows the address as home number 51 and has no option to re-deliver the consignment.

Phone number option does not recognize the house number 51 and so ends the call with no option to do anything else.

Surprise! Surprise! I need to travel 100 mile round trip to Aberdeen to collect the consignment myself as they have no contact information to speak to any employee.

[Name] the Director of this company is running a scam

Covent Gardens state on [Link] that if you spend over £500 that you get free postage. They do not honor that sales pitch. They do not give you the market value for $ either . The site does not move the value of the currency with the market and is robbing the consumer in this regard.

Thanks for your feedback and comments.

I am sorry that you feel this way with regards to your recent order and I am sure that between us we can work out an amicable solution.

With regards to the free postage - this is offered to all customers as an exclusive offer on and is done so by means of discount code, which is clearly labelled on their website. Unfortunately, this seems to be where the problems have started because we have charged you for delivery as a result of this discount code not been used. I believe now that we have recompensated you this £4.95 delivery charge by means of electronic bank transfer.

The website moves automatically every hour in line with the market rate. Once an order is placed, that rate is secured and is then paid for and dispatched. Apologies if you feel as though the rate is 'robbing the consumer' but from our point of view, you were obviously happy with the rate at the time of order, to actually place the order in the first place. Once an order is placed, the rate is set.

We are inspected every year by HMRC and regulated by the FSA so I would strongly refute the claims of 'scam'. As you can see from our presence on trust pilot and other review sites, there are hundreds of good reviews on the internet and the service we provide. We are a family run business and have been in the same Covent Garden premises for 30 years so to hear the words scam is upsetting.

I have been assured that you have been sent our complaints procedure. Please go through this and I will endeavour to reply and together, I am hopeful that we can put this bad experience behind us.
