i took my car for M.O.T. on a Saturday after booking and paying online which was all very straightforward. unfortunately my car failed so i was told by the lad on reception to phone back on Monday and he would see if he could get the parts to do the job. i was told not to worry, they would sort it for me. great, i thought. after the weekend i called in person on the Monday to find out if they had gotr the parts and when they could do the job. the guy in question wasnt there, half day or something so i spoke to another who rang the guy and he said he couldnt get the parts! while i was there the other lad rang their supplier only to be told no, they couldnt get the parts! I asked what i should do now as i needed my car and was greeted with a shrug of shoulders and told to take it to the nearest Proton dealer a 50 minute drive!! yes i was upset and angry about it to say the least!! i just thought i would ask at another local garage and have now got it booked in for 2 days time when the parts they did order, AND GOT, arrived!! needless to say this is what i have done. i feel let down because you would think a Proton car was a rarity and the parts like gold dust!!! well they arnt!!
