Took my car to National Tyres for an MOT, it failed because the "mechanic" said the screen wash didn't work! I told him that he was mistaken because I had just driven 35 miles in bad weather and had used the screenwash several times, was it just out of water? He said that it wasn't up to him to check that and that I would have to sort it myself and have a re-test.
The reception area was full of people who had just been told by the NT supervisor that they were all repairs were running a couple of hours behind schedule - you can guess their reaction!
Fortunately, the supervisor showed a modicum of common sense and supplied me with water for the screen wash (which then worked) and issued a MOT pass.
