Quality control and flexibility of customer care very disappointing

Design of the 12X10 tongue and groove modular garden workshop of quality expected for a product costing just short of £1,000, but in course of construction found:
One of the two floor sections well out of square, poorly finished and damaged in one corner. Rear gable wall damaged at top & needed patching. The roof truss had parts missing and we had to make good with own materials. One corner finishing strip, was the wrong size and one facia board was too warped to fit. One of the door hinges was screwed on at an angle and out of true. Finally the tar felt supplied appeared to be for a smaller shed. Despite meticulous care when fitting it was only adequate for half the roof and we had to go and purchase 2 additional rolls locally. Waltons did reimburse most of the cost of the additional tarfelt.

We are sorry to hear that the item was damaged upon arrival, in the event that any items are reported damaged or missing from delivery we are able to send out replacement parts free of charge, we would recommend to all our customers that they check the parts against the instructions before any attempted installation to ensure that everything has arrived in good condition, should replacement parts be required these will usually be delivered within 5 working days of the request.

In the event that the customer would prefer to purchase parts locally we are also able to offer a 'maximum spend' for this which we will refund upon receipt of relevant proof of purchase.

We hope that now that the building has been fully assembled that you are happy with your purchase.
