Interparcel

Unacceptably unreliable, with no accountability. 1 in 3 chance the courier won't show up.

I've used Interparcel about 30 times, and my experience is that at least 1 in 3 occasions the courier simply fails to show. This seems to be the case for all courier firms they offer.
It's simply impossible to bank on a collection being done at the time agreed, and interparcel don't even contact one if the collection fails - it's down to the customer to tell them! Therefore one wastes a day waiting in.
Interparcel seems to carry no weight at all with courier firms. I suspect the business they get from Interparcel is so negligible they don't care what service they provide.
I've never had a satisfactory account from Interparcel why the courier failed to show up - all they do is refund, which is a fat lot of use if one is trying to arrange an urgent delivery.
