Mazuma Mobile
Brilliant service, the best Phone recycler out there!
Cannot fault the service given by mazuma. After almost being ripped off and conned out of £45 by another company I sent my phone to mazuma with zero hassle when compared to another company I used originally!
Definitely recommend to anyone and will be using again for sure!
Envirofone
Be wary of condition of handsets sent especially high value ones, you could easily be ripped off!
Sold 2 out of 3 handsets to these guys 1 was a HTC Wildfire (valued at £20), a Nokia N95 8GB (valued at £55) and a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S (valued at around £110). After receiving the post pack I wrapped them all up in bubble wrap happy with the quotes as they were marginally better than Mazuma.
A few days later I received an email asking me to take action on a problem with one of the handsets. By coincidence this 'problem' was with the highest value handset sent, the Xperia. The problem was listed as a 'slight crack/chip' and the offer was revised to be £62.98. Thinking it was damaged in transit or being something I never picked up on I had the phone sent back to me.
On inspection when I received the phone this so called crack/chip was a very small scratch (about quarter of an inch) on the rear plastic battery cover (this was confirmed as the problem by email). When I raised my concern at them trying to Con me out of around £45 for a scratch (when the lower valued N95 was scratched worse than this) I was met with the same reply twice about how this damage affects resale value (which I understand) and how this scratch would get worse and soon develop into a crack (on past experience I highly doubt this). I stated how ridiculous the idea of knocking off £45 was as a cover can be obtained for less.
I have recently completed a transaction with mazuma mobile for the same phone in the same condition for £100 with no problems what so ever (have proof of final value).
All in all envirofone quote excellent prices but I would recommend people to think twice about sending high value handsets as they will find any excuse to pay less than the quoted price and rip you off. I personally will NEVER use envirofone again just because of this one transaction.
