I knew i wanted a solid mahogany guitar and GG had the best stock of Martin that were in my sights. I was welcomed into the store, was given help when asked for and left to m own devices with a selection of the Martins which was great. The sales person didn't gush with praise about anything I considered , in fact he said they were not his cup of tea, which made feel like I wasn't being pushed into any old sale. Finally I chose a model and decided to buy it. OM-15SM Custom. At £1200 it was a major purchase for me and I was a little upset at only being offered a packet of strings into the deal - £7 off! Not really loyalty inspiring I have to say. but that aside - I will return and have my eyes set on a resonator next year!
