My partner has been tearing her hair out for months, while trying to get Anglian to properly deal with a problem involving unfinished repairs under guarantee.
The plastic cappings on the undersides of roof members have warped and twisted very badly, curving several inches away from the metal framing, distoritng the blinds that are attached to them. These are expensive lightweight blinds made and fitted by Sanderson, as reccommended by Anglian.
Anglian took 2 months to send a surveyor to inspect. Parts were identified and ordered. Technicians were to fit the replacements when the parts became available. But several weeks later they came without, taking down the faulty parts. Ever since then, phone discussions with numerous individuals have included promise to ring back, but when chased, each new individual declares no record of our complaint and we begin again. And again. And again. We are given mobile phone numbers to ring at our expense. We are passed from person to person, department to department. Some tell us the parts are on order, others tell us they have yet to be ordered and ask us for details of what parts! Reference numbers we are given appear to mean nothing.
Meanwhile we recieve marketing calls, asking if we would like Anglian to quote for new work!
Jacqueline Adams was friendly and efficient in handling my annuity purchase - and so accessible! It was great not having to deal via an automated telephone menu or wait for messages to be answered. Direct access by phone and/or email was available throughout, and responses were immediate, friendly, and totally clear. I wish the various other companies we all have to deal with would take note.

I came to Key via an online comparison website, which offered me KEY, and Hargreaves Lansdowne, and others. I chose these two to provide me with quotes. Both were good in obtaining competitive quotes, but HL annoyed me by swamping me with unrelated mailings pushing their various other services and peppering emails with unwanted adverts. Key remained focussed on my annuity and were very much easier to make direct contact with. I will happily reccommend Key to friends and family when they have annuity arrangements to deal with. I am a harsh critic of bad service, and would mention anything I didn't like about Key - but the service was faultless. I am very impressed.
