Miserable experience with this company. They claimed repeatedly to have attempted to deliver and to have left a card each time. On at least 3 occasions I was in. They never left a card as proof of any visit. They then claimed to have successfully delivered when they had not! (I was home at the time).
The merchant (Halfords) intervened on my behalf and successful delivery was achieved.
The scary bottom line is that it was my word against Yodel's but the driver slipped up - he/she always logged the visit exactly 30 mins after leaving the depot, the distance between the depot and my house cannot be covered in 30 mins and one of the excuses listed on the tracking site was that there was a problem with my address but this was after they had claimed to have visited and left a card.
Clearly an issue of integrity with their drivers which yodel say they are addressing.
There is no way I will order from merchants in the future if they use this carrier. I think I was lucky that I could 'prove' that the tracking record could not be true and that the Halfords customer Services Manager was pro-active.
Very annoying to have to give them a star in order to post the review!
