I got a deal through kgb for an A1 Canvas print from digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk
here is the current ordeal, letter to kgb:-
Hello Just to let you know I will be informing trading standards over this issue but before I do I want to know what help you can offer. I ordered this deal from yourselves ‘An A1 size personalised canvas print from digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk.
This was used on the 23 of October, your KGB page states delivery is within 5 working days which was the main appeal for me as it was my anniversary in 3 weeks and I wanted a unique gift. After purchasing the deal I found on the web link attached to the voucher in very small font ‘Due to the nature of the KGB offer we may become heavily oversubscribed, which could lead to delays of up to at least 15 working days’ I was disappointed at this but went ahead as I believed there was still a good chance I would receive my purchase in time. I also spent extra money on the site upgrading the canvas to a full wrap/gallery frame with a matt laminate for an extra cost of £10.00 with also a £9.90 delivery charge on top.
By the 15th of November ’17 working days after the order date’ I contacted the company by email as the contact number on the site went straight to answer phone and was unable to leave a message due to it being full. I inquired about my order and asked for an estimated delivery date, as it was now past the 15 days.
My reply from Steve Perkins was:
“we have some delays at the moment due to the huge amount of orders we have received we are working through these and your canvas should be with you in the next 5 working days”
I accepted this and waited. 26 working days later on the 27th of November I contacted Steve again as I still had not received my canvas, I requested proof of my order progress and delivery as I now intended the gift to be used as my partner’s birthday present for the 5th of December.
Again I received another email:
“we are running behind at the moment just because of the sheer number of orders we have received, yours will be with you in the next 5-7 working days, I will get this to you for the 5th December “
So yet again no proof was shown that my canvas had been processed and that the previous email on the 15 of November was a lie.
I contacted Steve again by email two days ago as the phone number still doesn’t work, I am yet have a reply. It has now been 38 working days later and the third month in from the order date, I have no longer faith in this company that I will be receiving my canvas and your advertised deal. I have research this issue and found that I am not the only one who has been disappointed and mislead by digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk. KGB ran the same deal in 2011 and had the same problems I want to know why you would risk your reputation and customer satisfaction in renewing this deal in 2012?
As well as numerous other people, I am fed up with this company and want you to contact Steve Perkins regarding my order id 14183. I want either a definite delivery date and tracking proof my order has been dispatched or a full refund of my order including the KGB voucher. I have been lied to repeatedly and will not tolerate it no longer.
I'm still yet to hear anything, save yourself the hassle and dont bother with KGB deal or any associated comapany there customer service is non existent and you just be scamed out of your hard earned money.
