I have been a loyal cutomer for almost a year now and during this time I have bought loads of wowcher deals.
In October I got a deal for a smart mobile phone with Vivacity and redeemed it on the 10th of October plus addtional postage of £6.99, since that period everytime I checked with vivacity account it said that it was being processed. It took ages before I could finally get a reponse from wowcher.
Finally on the 14th of Nov a got an email from wowcher promising me that my order would be with me no later that the following monday because the had received "spread sheets and scans from the merchant confirming it and a signature woud be needed".
Towards the end of the following week I emailed wowcher advising them that the package had not arrived and even if it was second class it should have arrived, I asked for the tracking number so as to track it. No tracking number received to date.
I have advised wowcher that I would be complaining to the OFT because this clearly breached the Trading Practices Act because not only did i not receive the product they sold me I was ripped off by paying dearly for posting a product that I cant get a tracking number to. True to my word I have just finished drafting my letter to them.
I use Groupon and living social deals but have never being treated like this.
Wowcher will confirm that I have bought loads of deals and found them quite a few clients (family and friends) but customer service is almost non existant, imagine from October to December I am no closer to this issue being resolved.
My advice to people is use groupon or living social deals and save yourself your time and money!!!!
