We have used Villa Plus a couple of times and enjoyed the quality of the properties. On our most recent holiday we bought a package from Villa Plus including a Thomas Cook flight and an Avis car rental.
The outbound flight was delayed by nearly 7 hours. No information was provided and a replacement aircraft was smaller. My wife & I had paid for reserved seats next to each other, but without telling us they changed my wife's seat to a different row. Disgraceful. When the aircraft landed in Tenerife we were left on the plane for more than half an hour because they hadn't notified the airport about the different aircraft type and the air bridge could not connect to it. The return flight was 50 minutes late taking off. A terrible service overall.
Avis car hire was OK except for an hour queueing to collect the car.
