I ordered a bedmaster signature 1400 Super king sized bed from World Stores in September, I thought I had got a real bargain plus as im in recovery from a serious back injury I needed a nice new bed, I arranged the delivery date, took time off from work but it wasn't delivered when promised but a few days later, when it was delivered a small delivery man just threw it out the back of his delivery vehicle in all it's various boxes and dragged it all into my house, once he was gone I had to arrange for a couple of men to help get this upstairs (I cant lift heavy objects because of my back injury), once it was up there, thats when I noticed there were parts missing and the mattress had been split on one corner by being thrown out the back of the vehicle by the delivery man.
Since I have registered a complaint with World Stores (several times) no-one seems in a rush to help me get the mattress replaced, I have been told it will be replaced but no-one knows when, I had a phone call about 3 weeks ago from a gentleman stating he was arranging a two man delivery team as I have a back injury to take the old mattress away and put the new one in my bedroom, he said "leave it with me, I will call back in half hour or so", well no-one called back and ive since tried contacting world stores a couple of times since, and no-one gets back to me.
I wouldn't recommend anyone using World stores, the after sales service I have received is very bad, Although I did speak to one very helpful individual who I emailed a photo of the damage to, but have yet to get any help, it's now exactly 3 months since this all started and as of today 14th of December nothing has been done to resolve this.
