We have written a complaint on Groupon's UK page after being fobbed off as nothing to do with them. This con has cost us just shy of £500!
Hi Groupon. We are deeply disappointed in the way you have handled our complaint about KPX Travel/iflyholidays Post (ticket #3489044). We reported that they booked a holiday for us that we had not agreed along with insulting us when we asked for clarification on the deal followed by hanging up on us and processing our card details without consent. The operator also lied to us about a supposed luggage upgrade to our hand luggage (5kg to 10kg) and we have recently discovered this is not possible (another lie the operator told us to get another £78). We got the response from you recently that you spoke to KPX Travel and they said we had confirmed the details and as the vouchers had been processed (again without our consent) you have no further involvement. I am a regular user of Groupon as you can see from my account but will not buy anything again after this bad experience and will be advising others NOT to buy any travel/holidays as this one is a con. (please also note that the hotel has not been booked for the dates we have been told)!
