Paid the additional for Express Delivery and ordered it before the deadline for dispatch that day. When it didn't arrive, I phoned customer services who said that ParcelForce "missed" my item at the evening collection. It ended up same delivery slot as if I hadn't paid the extra. I emailed customer services asking for a refund but they never responded. Sad that otherwise good companies let themselves down like this!
Ordered goods 10 days ago using PayPal, over £35 so qualified for free delivery. Got a response within a couple of hours asking for an additional £7 for delivery. I immediately responded asking for a refund as I was not willing to pay this.
Despite several emails & SPENDING OVER 3 HRS ATTEMPTING TO GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE they have not responded. I have now had to make a claim from PayPal, but won't get money back from them until near end of December at the earliest.
I am going to make a complaint to Trading Standards, and the Advertising Standards Authority (about false claims on their Web Site stating emails answered within 12 Hrs, Ha Ha).
