As I am writing this, I am sat without a phone. I am a new customer and after much deliberation, decided to go for the Galaxy S111 on contract with O2. I was sent an email promising that my phone will be delivered on 8th Dec before 1PM via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Today is the 15th Dec and still no phone has turned up. I received a tracking number (which turned out to be wrong after telling me that my phone is in Wimbledon, approx 250 miles away from where i live) and after phone Phones4U head office, was told that I had refused delivery (load of rubbish) and that the phone was being sent back to them. I was then given the choice of cancelling the contract if I wished or sitting tight and wait for Royal Mail to get their backsides into gear and send the phone back to them so that they can resend it to me. I even offered to travel to my local Phones4U to pick up a replacement (a round trip of 50 miles) but that was unacceptable to them. A new phone cannot be issued until the original one has been returned from Royal Mail. I rely heavily on my mobile as i have a disabled wife and the fact that I now have no phone and have no idea when it is going to be delivered is causing me no end of stress. Two of my friends ordered phones from other companies at the same time as myself and received their phones (via courier) within 48 hours. I know that this may seem a Royal Mail problem but the lack of understanding and the fact that I have to wait for a phone to be returned to them that I have not even been in receipt of, is unacceptable!
