Fasthosts aren't focused on the customer. On the phone before purchase I asked about cancelling the 12 month contract if they failed to meet the uptime requirements I was looking for to which they replied yes.
However, after several months of using their hosting service I had several times of ~5 hour outages. They failed to diagnose the issue initially until I persisted via tickets which finally got escalated to an senior engineer who managed to tell me what the hell was going on.
They refused to cancel the contract even though they said they would. In addition to this I was unable to downgrade my hosting plan which I was never made aware of all all.
Avoid Fastosts, they are money grabbers and don't focus on the customer. You do not want to be in business with a company like this, they aren't transparent and their service is rubbish.
Do not use Fasthosts.
