Lawson HIS

Lawson delivered almost before the ink was dry on my order

I ordered on line on Friday, got an instant acknowledgement and at 0815 on the following Monday the goods were delivered to my door, intact and correct. so in fact it was next (working) day delivery
No hesitation at all in recommending this company (and Parcelforce, who delivered)

Ironmongery Online

I ordered, you supplied.

Good price, prompt delivery, goods as described. Difficult to imagine how you could improve on that.
Received a customer satisfaction phone call - this company obviously anxious to be the best in the business and all power to their elbow for that.
Highly recommended.

IronmongeryDirect

Look no further

I ordered two sets of drawer runners and three magnetic door stops - my first order with Ironmongery Direct. The well-packed parcel arrived early on the day promised and when I phoned to say that one small packet of screws was missing the lady answering the call was very apologetic and promised to have replacements sent as soon as possible, bearing in mind that they did not hold stocks of such accessories and they would therefore have to come from their suppliers. She said that this might take several days but In the event the package arrived within two days.
An exemplary service and one that I would definitely use again. To anyone who is looking for not only a vast range of ironmongery items but also a fast and courteous service you should look no further. Highly recommended.

ProCook

You promised, I ordered, you delivered

I wanted a decent set of saucepans that were non-stick, dishwasher-safe, stackable and long-lasting. ProCook's Tri-Ply range seemed to fit the bill so, placing my trust in their website I placed my order. Almost immediately I received an acknowledgement then, not long after confirmation that the goods had been despatched. From then on I was able to track the order and my parcel arrived early on the day originally promised. One slight niggle was that the cardboard box had partially come apart at the base (the delivery driver warned me to be careful) but there was no damage to the well-packed saucepans. The first impression was the weight of the pans and the thickness of the metal, due, no doubt to the fact that they are made from aluminium sandwiched between two layers of highly polished stainless steel. The handles are very heavy-duty, rubber-covered and securely riveted to the pans -they are unlikely ever to work loose.
They have been used several times during the few days we've had them and they do the job they are supposed to do. One thing we noticed was that all three have capacity graduations etched on the insides which will be very useful on occasions where accuracy is important. The inside surfaces, although not coated with Teflon or equivalent do nevertheless appear to be "non-stick" and all three pans have been through the dishwasher several times without apparent ill-effect.
One thing we've noticed is that being heavier than our other pans they retain the heat for longer so there is a need to be aware of this when, for example, boiling milk..
To sum up, ProCook delivered on every promise and while it is still "early days" I cannot foresee any problems with these products and consequently have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for quality cookware.
