Company refused to charge my credit card, demanded bank transfer

I tried twice to make a reservation. The first time my card was refused due to my bank having a block on Internet purchases. After having resolved this issue, I resubmitted a 2nd reservation (the first having expired). At this point, Govoyages refused to try to debit my card. Instead they demanded a bank transfer. No explanation was given as to the reason. Also, govoyages do not tell you immediately if there is an issue with the payment. Confirmation of the reservation takes many hours. This is a pain with last minute reservations.
