I sent an important letter to an address in Florida on the 27th October by ParcelForce's Global Express. Delivery was guaranteed in 3 working days for which I paid £49.75p. The letter was lost and never got to its destination. This contained a money order of considerable value, which had to be cancelled, costing a further £25. It also took their customer services nearly 3 weeks to eventually tell me that the letter had been lost. When I wrote to claim compensation for this (and at least a refund of the £49.75) I received a letter informing me that I should have applied for this within 15 days. As I hadn't done so, I would not receive any compensation. I hope that ParcelForce senior management read this because this is only the start of my campaign A) to publicise ParcelForce's lousy service B) to get my money back for a "guaranteed delivery within 3 days" which didn't happen.
