Tyres were cheaper but cost more in the end

Took car for 2 michelin pilotsport 235x18. They were a good price. We initially had a problem as I had asked for them on the front but returning to garage were told the locking wheel nut key was cracked and we would need to buy another. So they couldn`t put tyres on front had put them on the rear wheels instead. We ordered a wheel nut key from ford@£25.A week later car warning goes off to say front tyre pressure dropped from 34psi to 25psi. Re inflated and it did the same again.I returned to the garage with the problem. The assistant did not get up from his chair in the office but did inform me that for a faulty rubber valve seal I would need to order a new tyre sensor @£75 and pay £75 to tune it to the cars computer. It was nothing to do with them.Rubber perishes you know. You are supposed to replace them.So far 2 new tyres have cost an extra £175 on top of tyre price
