Ordered envelopes on Tuesday, after cut off, expected delivery on Thursday. Nothing turns up. Call customer services 'there is a notice telling you that delivery may be late because of Christmas. The carrier company is busy this time of year'. "Where is that" say I. 'After you have checked out and paid'. "So after I have placed my order and paid you tell me the delivery may be late?". 'Yes'. "You cant do that" I protest. 'Management will have covered themselves, they always do' came the reply. Very professional. 'Your order was dispatched on Wednesday and will be with you Friday'. Four o'clock on Friday arrives, no envelopes. Call customer services. 'They deliver up until 5.30pm'. "But I ordered these on Tuesday, I'm now not going to be able to use them until Monday, a whole week". I cancelled the order. At 4.40pm the envelopes arrive. I turn them away but not before noticing that the dispatch date was Thursday, not the Wednesday that customer services told me. So the carrier delivered next day and were not responsible for the delay. Have now placed the order elsewhere.
