Free delivery and cheap price - but is quality worse??

I order a photobook every year for my husband as an anniversary present. This year the delivery was free (which was unexpected) and only took 3 days (also unexpected) but looking at the equivalent books from previous years, the quality seems to have reduced slightly. Still happy though, but I wonder if this is signalling a decline??
