Placed one order and received phone no problems. Tried placing a new order on 15th December 2012 online. Got email confirmation for new ipad , paid £230 via debit card and then £25 would be taken monthly, Got an email later in the day advising there was a problem and someone would contact me within 48 hours. I called Phones4u for reasons and was told that Orange would not take any further (credit check). My account still showing as minus £230. Advisor told me it would take between 7-10 days for me to have MY £230 back in my bank. This is not acceptable as I haven't cancelled the order it was rejected so no money should even be showing in my bank account. Advisor agreed but said there was nothing he could do. I rang my bank to ask what could be done and they advised me to contact Phones4U again to ask them to send a fax to the Halifax stating my details etc so MY MONEY would be refunded immediately to MY BANK ACCOUNT. Phones4U would not do this for me. Halifax yold me to ring them back if this happened and it would then be processed through the fraud department. Halifax very very helpful and have completed the necessary form to ensure I GET MY MONEY back before the 7-10 days. Bearing in mind the time of year too , this is MY MONEY and was cancelled by yourselves so should not of even been pending in my bank. I am disgusted at this very poor service and I feel at this moment in time that I will be writing to the papers or even Watchdog about this situation. Why make people upset and stressed unnecessarily especially when it is my money not yours. My contact number is 01744815522.
