I ordered an item from Tesco Direct 10 days ago. Knowing how poor Hermes could be in our area I opted for Click + Collect to my nearest store. Even this didn't work for me and Tesco lost the item and couldn't track it down. They offered to send it next day to my home.
As soon as I saw the email indicating the Hermes tracking number I just expected the worst. After failing to find my house, sitting on it at the depot for three days, apparently getting more details on my address, they have now shown it as 'Courier to re-attempt'. I'll wait in another day and see if this ever arrives.
My wife has had three parcels fail to arrive from River Island and will no longer buy from them because of how poor Hermes are.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath.
