I purchased 2 sets of chimp headsets on Friday afternoon. Not only have I not received them yet, but I was informed by my bank this morning that a direct debit bounced as there were insufficient funds in the account. I looked into this further and it turns out that wowcher had charged me for 3 sets of headphones and not 2. I was only sent the codes for 2, so its not like the mistake has been made on my part. I have tried to call several times with no luck, and my emails are not being responded to. I also acquired the email of the manager and she has not responded either. Obviously its very important I am refunded so that my direct debits won't bounce! I like wowcher, and have had several successful transactions through them, but I won't be using them again if I don't get my money back...
I never received the order! The company never responded to my emails asking for a refund, so I called up and after EVENTUALLY getting through I was told I had to fill out a Non Receipt of Good form. I did this and was told on the phone that a replacement would be sent out on completion of the form. 2 months, and a Non Receipt of goods form later and I STILL haven't received the items. Then out of the blue the other day I was told that I was being refunded for some of the items but that one of the items was being sent out. Again not what I wanted, just a refund, but it's like they do the opposite of what you ask! Don't know why they decided to send that one item out and not just give me a refund. It's messed up my nicely organised Christmas list this year, as some people won't be receiving the presents I intended for them to have, and i have to start from scratch a week before christmas! It's a shame as they've got some lovely things on the site, but I won't be ordering again. The customer service was appalling.
