I'm a USA host and 9 flats did not pay me. I had to go through hoops to get them to pay me. After I complained they cancelled my web page and left a client who was to stay with us without a place to stay. THis resulted in lost revenue as the dates for the stay of the client stopped other clients from making the reservation.
Their response was that if they don't pay me, that's my problem, they don't notify you if they are unable or unwilling to pay. They did not notify me either that the site was cancelled. In both cases I had to research and had to offer the guest a free 8 day stay at our house out of concern for their plans.
When asked why they didn't pay me they kept complaining about my bank not knowing what it was talking about.
This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. It's clear they are scrambling to make sense out of what they are trying to do.
Sounds like two or three guys working out of their apartment who drink occassionally.
