My initial experience with Achica has been a disaster. Having placed an order with them, I had to contact them after four weeks to say it hadn't arrived, despite their estimated delivery time of 15 days.
They were apologetic, and said that my order had been despatched and should be with me within a few days (did this mean that it hadn't been despatched until I queried it?).
A few days later, PART of the order arrived, with a note to say that the rest was to follow. I waited a further two weeks, then contacted them again.
They didn't seem to know what was happening and asked me to send them a copy of my delivery note! I did this, and they then came back and said they were sorry (again) and that they would give me a refund on that part of the order.
I have pointed out that we ordered two quilt covers, two Oxford pillowcases and two housewife pillowcases, and it was no use to us to have only part of the set.
I am still waiting to see what will happen, but I am not confident.
We shall not be using Achica again. Period!
The Parts Gateway web site was easy to navigate and I had several offers to supply within 12 hours. Unfortunately the supplier I chose did not perform to expectations and I was obliged to contact Parts Gateway about it. They, in turn, contacted the supplier with the result that I got a full refund.
