A Co thinking of customers is this day and age - that's novel - easy to use & excellent rates
HIFX was recomended to me by a holiday co I use. Had been sending dollars to US through Moneycorp which were also excellent. However with amounts up to cicra 30,000, an automated online service is availablle from both.
Took a quote from HiFX with my latest transfer with both offering no fees and saved aroung £40-50 with HiFX on a £4k transaction. Seemed good to me.
The only small downside was that the rate they quote before you register is much better than you actually receive. Was going to save around £90 at first but still easy registration and saved money

While not quite the cheapest, fast efficient service with quick delivery
When purchasing a tumble drier when one packs up in wintertime, you want fast efficient service which was what I received.
Finding best deal is so difficult especially living in Scotland as the "free" delivery quickly disappears. Range from free to £60 in one case.
Found the dishwasher slightly cheaper (inc delivery) than Appliances on line but with a proviso that outside carriers would have to be used (Scotland) and delivery 7 to 14 days. Not really of use in Dec
Appliances, while £10 dearer, gave a delivery day offer of Tuesdays or Thursdays in my area. Perfect - ordered Monday - delivered Thursday. Full details of delivery notification by phone, text & online, with delivery time exactly within timeslot as stated.
