Just Eat

Party to restaurant blackmail

Having had a number of problems with my takeaway from Indian Spice Manchester I gave the takeaway a poor review on just-eat. Indian Spice have given me a receipt of refund which I am yet to receive. Just-eat telephoned me and said that if I take down my review I will receive my refund. Just-eat were happy for my review to be removed and following this for me to receive my refund (which I am legally entitled to). On this basis it appears that just-eat provide a completely inaccurate review process if every customer leaving a bad review for a takeaway then removes it in order to gain their refund, leaving only the positive reviews and therefore an untrue reflection of customer satisfaction.

Indian Spice ring me frequently and abuse me and tell me they will sue me etc. I believe just-eat have a duty to their users to themselves review the takeaways and to refuse to be party to such dealings with restaurants attempting to skew their rating.
