I only noticed all the bad press when I came to give my thoughts.
Personally I had come to Pixmania as I got totally stiffed by another website from whom I am still waiting a refund for my failed order. Not only did I find the graphics card I wanted but at some £50 cheaper than I could find elsewhere coupled with a voucher, it was an absolute steal.
It came bang on time, was well wrapped in air cushions and works as it should.
No complaints at all.
After spending quite some time trawling the web for desktop deals it was decided by quite some margin that DinoPc would be where I would place my order.
Having had only laptops for the last few years and not being quite up to speed on the latest components for desktop computers I brushed up my knowledge and was very pleased to see the very broad range of components available at DinoPc (compared to most other custom Pc sites). After selecting 5 or 6 different builds I finally settled on a specification and proceeded to order, everything here went as expected and I received a prompt email stating that my order had been received. Marvelous!
Now I had promo code for a 1 week turnaround and sure enough, to the day I received an email stating my order had been shipped for next day delivery.
The next day a box was delivered and I proceeded to open it up to check the contents and as I did it was quickly noted that the computer in the box was not even remotely my order, there had been a mix up somewhere and had been shipped the wrong computer so I called DinoPc straight away where I was asked to email pictures of what I had received at which point I was told that someone would be in contact the next day.
The next day I was told that the computer I had received would be picked up and mine would be on its way and I was forwarded a tracking number.
My computer arrived the next day and I am currently writing this review from it and I am very happy with it.
It is a solidly built machine that tears through everything I have thrown at it including Far cry 3 maxed out and Cubase running with as many plug ins as I own.
Bottom line, would I order from DinoPc again? - Without a doubt, even with the shipping error, the serviced received was fantastic, the product is solid and what you expect and finally pricing is second to none, the nearest competitor had lesser parts at around £100 more expensive.
