Absolutely appalling service........or lack of it!

Ordered from Amazon on the 8th December, then watched my delivery status play ping pong between the depot and "attempted delivery"! Leading up to "contacted customer"! I have no idea who they contacted but it wasn't us!
After over a week we were told by amazon that it was out again on the 19th for delivery and they had my mobile number! Surprise surprise, no delivery, yet my status shows two attempted deliveries between 9 and 10pm last night...no call even though they had my mobile number...where did they attempt a delivery!?
I live on a secure estate with 24 hour security so would love to hear where these idiots have been knocking!!
Amazon have resent my order with a different courier.......looking at all these stories, how are amazon continuing to use these muppets?
