I placed an order on 15th Dec, LATEST delivery date according to the tracker was 17th Dec (don't need it til Christmas eve, so that's no problem that it was a little late, but after speaking with an extremely rude advisor, it has become more of an issue). However, having read on the tracking notes that it had been sent to the wrong warehouse and was only re-dispatched 2 full days later and I still hadn't received it, I contacted Very customer services to find out where I stood and when I could expect to receive my parcel. The woman I spoke with was intolerant & rude and went on to tell me how wonderful Very are and how they provide a great service to 3 million customers (I didn't ask for this info, nor did I give her reason to provide it. I didn't ring to criticise, only to query, but she seemed quite defensive). After telling her I was more interested in the service provided to me and was I expected to wait in for the next 3 days (the date she then guesstimated for delivery) she said YES! Haha.
The icing on the cake....
6.30 tonight, 24hrs after my last call to Very, I receive a call from a very cheery gentleman thanking me for my custom, etc, etc, etc, with Very.
Just when i think I'm getting an apology for the item I'm STILL waiting for, he launches into a sales pitch.
Very inconvenient during my toddlers bathtime.
VERY just about sums it up:
VERY unrealistic, VERY unhelpful, VERY unprofessional, VERY inconvenient and a VERY peeved customer.
